Interesting event. Most interesting is that every single candidate, including incumbents, was against the upcoming TSPLOST (excluding one candidate who didn't comprehend the issue).

We have sent your questions to the candidates; expect them to respond within this comment thread. Feel free to continue asking questions here as well!

Craig and Samuel made similar comments. Specifically, they thought the backgrounds of the Johns Creek candidates sound similar, which is far from the truth. I am the only experienced leader among the three of us. I retired as a Commander after 22 years in the US Navy. I served four years as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Treasury in Washington. I was a successful corporate executive at AT&T and today run a successful small business in Johns Creek. I know how good government works and the importance of making the right decision the first time. In much of my career, there was not a second chance to correct the decision the second time around. Johns Creek is off to a great start after it first five years and we need leaders on City Council to keep it on the right path into the future.
