Handsome Leo Would Love to Share Your Home

Orange tabby needs loving home.

Handsome Leo somehow ended up abandoned and living on his own in a North Fulton County neighborhood. This 5-year-old big boy started accompanying a couple on their daily walk with their dogs.

They said he had such a great personality — they would talk to him while he was walking with them and he would talk back. After a few weeks of these daily walks, he took up residence on their porch, and they realized they needed to find this sweet guy a forever home.

They invited him into their own home, got his vet work taken care of, and asked Angels Among Us Pet Rescue if the group would accept him into their adoption program. Although initally a tad shy, Leo began standing on his hind legs whenever he wanted his foster folks to scratch his head. He follows them all over the house, and now sleeps with them on their bed. (His foster mom says Leo likes to squeeze himself right between her and her husband.) He is a super-friendly guy, would make a great "buddy" cat, and sometimes seems a bit like a small dog.

Leo lives with other cats, but really seems to prefer to have all the people attention to himself. He would do well as an only cat, but would probably also be a good companion cat for a submissive female cat.

Leo's foster home includes dogs, and he does very well with them.

This is a great cat who would be perfect for someone looking for a true cat buddy. Sadly, when Leo attends the Angels weekend adoption events, he invariably watches as the young kittens get adopted, and he continues to look for his forever family.

Are you the person or family who will appreciate a great guy like Leo? Angels volunteers promise you will absolutely fall in love with this wonderful boy if you give him a second chance at a good life.

Leo is a tidy cat and very good about using his litter box.

Like all of Angels' rescued cats, Leo has been altered and is up to date on vaccinations, has been tested for feline leukemia, feline AIDS and heartworm disease, has been provided parasite control treatment, and is micro-chipped.

Wow, Leo is a very pretty cat. I wish I wasn't allergic. :(

Certainly a big, handsome fella who has a winning purrsonality! Quite talkative, and a very good listener as well! Know his future family will fall in love with him as quickly as the volunteers have. He's just anxious to start his new life in his forever home so he can prove himself to be the charming member of the family that he is destined to be!

Leo is the very sweetest cat in the house (I'm his foster dad). He's making this very hard to type because he's half lying on the keyboard!

We have three of our own and another one "left behind" (just like Leo) by the real estate mess. We have 3 dogs (all sizes) and he just does great with all of them. That's actually how he "found us" - he went on our long dog walks with us and just kept following us home. He just loves attention - he'll take whatever you'll give him but he'll really always want just a little bit more. He's very vocal and just loves to look deep into your eyes when he's talking to you. My wife would love to keep him (don't tell our cats that Leo is her clear favorite! ;-)) but we have 6 animals of our own in the house and we just don't have the room or time to give him what he deserves. Whoever gets Mr. Leo will be very, very lucky.
