This is not a 10 year tax just as the tax on GA 400 is not a tax for the period originally specified. See TrafficTruth.net

The bulk, in excess of 50% of the transportation projects listed in the TIA legislation is not designed to rapidly move traffic thru Atlanta. This is factual. Maintenance costs for MARTA is listed in the transportation projects. Millions of dollars for MARTA maintenance. This will not help UNTIE Atlanta traffic. Ask officials how much time your average commute will be reduced by spending billions of dollars on MARTA which has declining ridership.. Ask these all knowing, infinitely intelligent transportation planners for specific times saved going from Dunwoody to Kennesaw. Ask about any specific route or time that will be saved. THEY CAN NOT TELL YOU. This is a big barrel of tax dollars for developers, not a plan to swiftly move traffic around Atlanta.
