Chattahoochee High School softball player Claire King has been named October's Female Student Athlete of the Month by XL212 and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
King, the daughter of Lou and Ted King, is a four-year letter winner and academic athlete. Her various awards include Most Valuable Player, Best Defense, All-Region. She received her award at the GNFCC Eggs and Enterprise Breakfast Oct. 23 at Country Club of the South.
