Chattahoochee High School’s Kevin Mallard has signed a National Letter of Intent to swim for St. Andrews University, Laurinburg, N.C., in the fall. St Andrews is an NAIA school and a member of the Appalachian Conference. He plans to study graphic arts and game design.

Mallard has been a varsity letterman in swimming all four years as well as serving as a team captain this year. He has competed for Chattahoochee in every high school swimming state championship since his freshman year and received the Coach’s Award his junior year. A Palmer Dodge Athlete of the Week, Mallard swims year-round for Swim Atlanta as has coached his summer league Cambridge Neighborhood team for the past two years.
