Findley Oaks Elementary School recently honored its Teacher of the Year, Andrea Cassidy, and Employee of the Year, Cathy Gipson.

Cassidy, a third-grade teacher, was one of  four teachers nominated by staff for the award. Her fellow nominees were Luz Castro, Rebecca Hales and Heather Rogers.  

Gipson, a special education instructional paraprofessional, was one of three employees chosen by staff for consideration as Employee of the Year. Also nominated for Employee of the Year were Gwen Darling and Mojgan Tajik.
