Fifth-grade TAG students at Findley Oaks Elementary have been studying a unit on "Changes in Georgia Coasts" where they learned all about shark behavior and anatomy. As a culminating activity, they dissected dogsharks, experiencing firsthand all that they had learned.
Meanwhile, first-grade students from Mrs. Connors class learned firsthand about living things when they hatched baby chickens in the classroom. Their chicks Feisty and Peepers were born in the classroom incubator on May 3.
