Why: Join Keep North Fulton Beautiful and learn how to make a functioning rain barrel for your home. Everything you need to quickly assemble your own rain barrel will be provided. Or, to make it even easier, you can simply purchase a completed rain barrel.

The Patrick Nelson Flag Football Follies
Where/When: Chattahoochee High School, 5230 Taylor Road, Johns Creek; Sunday, May 15, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Why: The Alpharetta/Johns Creek community has joined forces to plan a fundraiser in support of the Nelson family. Join the community at the Chattahoochee High School Football Stadium for a fun and exciting day of co-ed flag gootball. Gather seven to 10 of your most energetic, fun friends to form a team. Create a cool team name, select a captain and come out for a day of rip-roaring competition. Three categories of teams can be formed: Middle School, High School and Adults.

Atlanta Heart Strings Junior Harp Ensemble
Where/When: Dr. Robert E. Fulton Regional Library At Ocee, 5090 Abbotts Bridge Road, Johns Creek; Sunday, May 15, 3 p.m.
Why: Enjoy a concert by the Atlanta Hearts Strings Junior Harp Ensemble, comprised of students ranging from ages 12-17. A light refreshment reception will follow the performance.

Why: Several choirs from metro-Atlanta synagogues will perform together in a celebration of Jewish life, culture and community.
