1. Election Day. Tuesday, July 31, is Election Day, and TSPLOST is on the ballot. Check out our Election Guide for more races affecting Johns Creek, and stay tuned Tuesday for live election night coverage.
2. 'Best' of Johns Creek. The nominations are in and polls are now open for Readers Choice 2012. You have until Aug. 19 to tell us who's the best in Johns Creek. We'll announce the results on Aug. 24.
3. Meet Barnwell's Principal. The community has three chances to meet Dr. Norman Sauce, Barnwell Elementary's new principal, before school begins:
- July 31, 7 to 8:30 p.m., The Ridge clubhouse (Brumbelow at Stoney Ridge)
- Aug. 7, 1 to 3 p.m., Northeast/Spruill Oaks Library
- Aug. 8, 7 to 8:30 p.m., Country Club of the South clubhouse
4. Chamber Networking. The Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce hosts its weekly networking event Wednesday morning at 9:30 at Hyatt Place.
