Youth Technology Learning Center's (YTLC) "Robo Elite" First Lego League Team (FLL) scores big at the regional qualifier tournament. This team nicknamed the "Fab Five" represented their community of Johns Creek well in their outstanding win of three trophies with one for Overall Championship, another for Team Presentation, and a whopping third for Robot Performance.

They also scored the highest in robotic game missions. Their outstanding and dynamic performance was that much more remarkable as they were all first year team members and new to this event with limited or no robotic experience.

FLL stresses core values of "gracious professionalism" and "their own coined phrase of "coopertition." They also stress community involvement. This program is sponsored and has the full support of President Obama who wants to encourage kids to become involved in stem programs particularly those emphasizing technology, math, science, and engineering where this country has become markedly deficient. This remarkable team will now move on to the Super Regionals in early January for a shot at the state title.
