Johns Creek HS Cheerleaders Plan Fun Week to Support the American Heart Association
The 2013 Johns Creek High School Basketball Cheerleaders are hosting their third annual philanthropic project the week of January 22 through January 29. Their goal is to raise funds for the American Heart Association’s Greater Southeast Affiliate by helping to support the “Make it Your Mission to Fight Heart Disease in Women” campaign.
The Cheerleaders will sell “Cheer with Heart To Keep the Beat” T-shirts during both lunches and at the Tuesday home basketball games against West Forsyth. Girls will play at 6:00 pm and the boys will face off at 7:30 pm. The gray T-shirts will cost $12 each; for preorders the week of January 14, and for quantity sales, the shirts will cost just $10 each. The Gwinnett Medical Center of Duluth is sponsoring the T-shirts. This year’s goal is to raise $3000.
The Chick-Fil-A Cow from Alpharetta Commons will make an appearance! Please come out for a fun night of cheering on your favorite basketball team, $1 shoot-outs during half time, and rubbing elbows with the Chick-Fil-A Cow, all while raising money for a very worthwhile cause.
