Evaluations Start August 16, 2012; Practices Begin on August 22, 2012

Alpharetta, GA, July 18, 2012:  Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association (AYBA) recently announced their Fall 2012 schedule. 

Player evaluations will be held on the following dates:   

• 4, 5 & 6 year olds        8/16/2012           5:30-7:00pm        Webb Bridge         Field 1   
• 7 & 8 year olds            8/16/2012           6:00-8:00pm        Wills Park              Field B
• 9 & 10 year olds          8/16/2012           6:00-8:00pm        Webb Bridge         Field 2
• 11 & 12 year olds        8/16/2012           6:00-8:00pm        Wills Park              Field C
• 13-15 year olds           8/16/2012           6:00-8:00pm        Wills Park              Field A
• 16-18 year olds           8/23/2012           6:00-8:00pm        Wills Park              Field A

Additional Information

• The 4/5/6 age group will be a T-ball/coach pitch with a strong emphasis on fun and development.  All games and practices will be at Webb Bridge for this age group.
• Practices will start 8/22 for all age groups....except for the 16/18s (High School) age group which is currently TBD.  Typically there will be one practice per week.
• Games will be on Saturday’s only for the 4/5/6’s, all other age groups will have games on Saturday and some weeknights.
• The season will be completed by 10/27 (weather permitting).

The Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association (AYBA) is a recreation and travel league organization, serving the Alpharetta and Greater North Fulton County area.  The league offers recreational programs for 4-18 year old age groups and travel teams for 9-14 year olds.

AYBA is a non-profit corporation registered with the office of the Secretary of State of Georgia.  The Association is operated by volunteer members serving as an elected Board of Directors, chaired by a Commissioner, assisted by a Deputy-Commissioner, Vice-Commissioners and Departmental Representatives.  AYBA Recreation Leagues are sanctioned by Dizzy Dean Baseball.  Travel Teams are affiliated with various baseball organizations (NWBA, USSSA, CABA, AAU, AABC, etc.) at the discretion of the travel team's manager.
